Sacred Land

Image result for By Sandy Tolan Robby Romero and his fellow Native American activists have drawn a clear line on the cold North Dakota ground. In an article written by Sandy Tolan, she explains how the government is building an oil pipeline across the land of these natives. However, the natives are simply trying to prevent this build as it might pollute their nearby river and resources. They are in a clash to see who will win the right to the land. I believe that the pipeline should be built because it would bring extreme benefits. It can transport tons of oils everyday that could potentially boost the economy of the US. Any pollution could easily by cleaned by the government. I’m lead to believe that the benefits outweigh the pollution of the rivers.
